The Brian Hafer Foundation was organized and formed in 2010 to highlight drug and alcohol awareness and to remind individuals that abuse knows no borders and willingly permeates every social structure. “Through Compassion and Awareness a Better Tomorrow Awaits.”  Following its inaugural golf outing, the Foundation officially organized and was recently designated as a not-for-profit tax-exempt entity.  The Foundation endeavors to partner with like-minded organizations to promote and understand society’s reaction to drugs and alcohol and to shift its focus, and continuously researches and performs its due diligence concerning viable partnerships and affiliations

The Foundation’s mission promotes Brian’s aspirations.  Brian wanted to help others battling the same addictions he faced.  After his death, many people coping with their own addictions came forward and shared their stories with the Hafer family about how inspirational Brian was to their own recovery. Unfortunately, Brian was unable to help himself.  But, to memorialize his aspirations and life, the Foundation continues his mission of highlighting the shocking reality of the dangers of drug and alcohol addiction.
