The Atlas is the official community for Route Fifty, a leading media publication providing news and analysis on issues impacting state and local government leaders across America. Building on Route Fifty’s legacy of providing timely and actionable coverage on federal legislation and state and local governments, The Atlas connects the people doing the work in their communities. The Atlas community helps state, county and local government leaders: 1) Build relationships with peers and partners to jumpstart progress, 2) Access resources to understand what is working, and 3) Share their success stories. To deliver on that promise, we facilitate peer networking roundtables, create and aggregate resources, host a dedicated helpline, and curate an easily searchable case study database. Access to The Atlas is private and free for individuals working in state, county and local government. Since its founding, The Atlas has featured more than 600 case studies and facilitated more than 4,000 new relationships to help jumpstart progress on some of our toughest challenges – citizen engagement, cybersecurity, climate change, and mobility.
