The 51 Fund is a private equity fund created by rising female filmmakers and nationally recognized finance leaders. The Fund is dedicated to financing feature films written, directed, and produced by women to provide favorable financial and social returns to investors.

By investing in films by women, the Fund will capitalize on a strong and growing market demand for fresh perspectives in storytelling, while working toward gender parity in cinema. We will open the world’s eyes to the artistic vision and entrepreneurial ability of female filmmakers and, in so doing, forever change how the world sees the 51% of us that are women.
