TTUHSC El Paso is a higher education institution delivering health sciences education and training through three schools: the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine, the Gayle Greve Hunt School of Nursing, and the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Founded in 1973, it has contributed to El Paso's health care landscape through education, research and patient care. Based in El Paso, Texas, the center operates offices across the city’s east, central and northeast areas and supports a workforce of nearly 2,000 faculty and staff, with many local health providers trained on its campus. Its graduates work across local health systems and private practices, and the center is recognized for producing physicians who appear on the Best Docs in America listing. In June 2026, TTUHSC El Paso announced leadership appointments for its Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, naming Lance R. McMahon as dean and Kendra P. Rumbaugh as vice dean.
