Teachers Health is a not-for-profit health insurer serving the education community and their families. Founded by teachers about 70 years ago, it currently covers more than 400,000 people. Its members include teachers, administration and support staff across public, private, and independent primary and secondary schools, as well as tertiary education, with family members eligible to join. The organization is based in Surry Hills, New South Wales, operating within the Australian insurance industry. In July 2025, Teachers Health Group merged with Teachers Union Health to form a single national not-for-profit health fund under THG, consolidating its position as Australia's largest industry-based health fund.
