Tampa Bay Watch is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the environmental services sector focused on protecting and restoring the Tampa Bay estuary through science-based programs and education. Based in Tierra Verde, Florida, and founded in 1993, the organization conducts habitat restoration and protection activities throughout the year, mobilizing thousands of volunteers to work with community groups, scout troops, schools and other partners. Its activities include salt marsh plantings, storm drain markings, oyster bar creation, coastal cleanups, and wildlife protection, all aimed at renewing the bay's ecological health. The organization serves a broad audience that includes students, teachers, and community members, providing educational programming and hands-on experiences such as field trips and camps through initiatives like Estuary EDventures. It also runs targeted programs such as Shells for Shorelines to recycle oyster shells for reuse in the bay. A notable recent development is the 2025 partnership with Grand Central Brewhouse to release The Pearl, a Hazy IPA, to celebrate and support Tampa Bay's waters and ecosystems.
