For 50 years, TACA - The Arts Community Alliance - has worked to establish North Texas’ cultural community as one of the strongest in the nation. Originally founded as an annual charity event, TACA has become a valued arts funding and service organization, providing an array of grant funds and innovative service programs. Our growing investment in the arts translates to new premieres and productions, impactful residencies and community initiatives, and more opportunities for artists and audiences to connect – all making Dallas a great place to live and work.

TACA supports nearly 50 performing arts organizations – from dance and theater to music, opera and youth arts – that collectively reach more than one million North Texans from all backgrounds each year. In 2016, TACA provided $1.5 million in grants, and our unique service programs amplify the impact of these funds by helping performing arts organizations reach new audiences and build their capacity.
