The Synopsys Outreach Foundation is a nonprofit organization focused on education administration programs that provide free STEM materials, professional development, and access to hands-on STEM experiences in the greater Bay Area. It aims to build relationships with other STEM advocates to improve access and engagement within the community, particularly for students in East San Jose, and supports partnerships that enhance science education opportunities. Based in Los Gatos, California, the foundation was established in July 1999 and operates with a small team dedicated to advancing STEM learning through collaboration and outreach. In recent activity, it has participated in joint events like Sciencepalooza with San José State University’s College of Science, an initiative designed to spark interest in STEM pathways and careers for local students. The organization also has a record of grants to support educational resources, exemplified by its 2020 grant to Resource Area for Teaching.
