Symphony of the Rockies is a mid-sized symphonic ensemble based in Littleton, Colorado, serving the Denver metropolitan area and the mountain region. For more than 70 years it has been a cornerstone of the local arts scene, and since 2013 Music Director and Conductor Devin Patrick Hughes has led the creation of a new ensemble aimed at broadening access to symphonic music across the region.

The orchestra comprises professional musicians, pre-professionals, community members, and music educators, and its repertoire spans classical masterworks as well as contemporary pieces across genres including pop, film, and folk. It emphasizes education through initiatives such as a Discovery Concert Series and an Emerging Artists Program, and provides coaching for music students of all ages; it began sensory-friendly programming in 2017 and expanded outreach to seniors in subsidized housing during the pandemic, serving thousands of students each season. The organization seeks to cultivate the next generation of classical music lovers throughout the Front Range, adapting during COVID with online and outdoor performances to maintain engagement.
