The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce, Texas (SACC TX) is a non-profit trade association serving the international trade and development sector, focused on facilitating commerce between Sweden and Texas. Based in Houston and founded in 1983, the organization operates with additional offices in Austin and Dallas, supporting a cross-state network of Swedish and Texas businesses. Its mission centers on expanding existing trade relationships, enabling new Swedish-Texas commercial connections, and promoting business opportunities for its members through information, seminars, matchmaking, and networking that span both sides of the Atlantic. While it serves companies of all sizes, SACC TX emphasizes entrepreneurial effort and mutual cultural understanding as a foundation for business collaboration, leveraging partnerships with SACC-USA and corporate members to coordinate efforts. A recent development includes appointing a Swedish Consul General to join the board on an honorary basis, reflecting ongoing ties with Swedish governmental representation in Houston.
