Finnish Customs is a government agency focused on international trade, foreign transport, and logistics. It evaluates threats in cross-border traffic, identifies risks, and safeguards society while ensuring secure and efficient customs services and fair competition. The agency operates at all Finnish borders and monitors cross-border movement. Headquartered in Helsinki, it is a central part of Finland's border oversight. In 2021 it introduced a new import clearance system for companies, and it has since collaborated with national police and international partners, including Interpol, to counter illicit online marketplaces.
