Sunstone Winery is a small- to mid-sized wine producer based in Santa Ynez, California. The estate cultivates certified organic Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Viognier, and Syrah, which are crafted by owner-winemaker Bion Rice to reflect the estate's terroir with a firm structure and a balanced mouthfeel. Visitors can experience the setting and wines in a lavender- and rosemary-filled courtyard, in stone barrel-aging caves, or in a tasting room that hosts events year-round.

Beyond its core wines, the Sunstone operation includes The Villa at Sunstone, an 8,500-square-foot event center built from reclaimed limestone for weddings, culinary retreats, and location shoots. In March 2026, Sunstone opened a new tasting room in Montecito at 1294 Coast Village Road, offering traditional tastings, wines by the glass, and curated pairings. The winery operates within the beverage manufacturing industry and maintains a regional presence that includes both its Santa Ynez estate and the Montecito location.
