Studio Matthews is a small, woman-owned design practice based in Seattle, comprised of designers, teachers, and makers. The firm provides design services across exhibitions, installations, wayfinding, workplace branding, illustration, donor recognition, placemaking, and landmark or historically sensitive projects, with the aim of integrating graphics into the surrounding architecture and landscape. The team focuses on environmental responsibility and seeks to reveal deeper connections between a project, its context, and those who encounter it. The work is most effective when it is closely aligned with the architectural or landscape framework, and the firm collaborates with architects and landscape architects early in the design process to reinforce the project vision.

In May 2026 the studio announced the addition of new team members, including Clayton Christopherson and Wendy Dith, and reported ongoing work on wayfinding and interpretive signage schemes with Walker Macy.
