Streams & Valleys, Inc. is a Fort Worth–based nonprofit in the recreational facilities sector that focuses on the Trinity River and its surrounding trails, with roots dating to 1969. It educates the public, raises funds for river-related projects, expands access to the river and trails, and coordinates collaboration among a diverse set of partners to pursue shared improvements. The organization treats the Trinity River as a central civic asset and aligns its work with a long-term strategy for the river as it evolves, a framework known as CONFLUENCE. 

Its activities center on five areas: expanding community awareness of trail safety and water quality; fostering environmentally responsible river development through broad stakeholder dialogue; delivering high-impact events and programs to strengthen community ties and support ongoing funding; coordinating projects beyond the scope of public agencies; and pursuing fundraising and grants to support river initiatives. The firm views the CONFLUENCE framework as a guiding context for its evolving work and partnerships. In August 2025, Streams & Valleys appointed a new executive director.
