Stanford Seed is a higher education initiative affiliated with the Stanford Graduate School of Business. It partners with entrepreneurs in Africa, South Asia, and Indonesia to help them build sustainable, growing enterprises through training and resources. Based in Stanford, California, the program operates as a mid-sized entity within the education sector. Its goal is to enable founders and CEOs in developing economies to increase revenues, create jobs, and improve social and environmental outcomes.

The organization views SMEs as engines of shared economic prosperity, delivering educational programs and supportive resources to help them grow and scale. In November 2025, Stanford Seed announced the STN Awards 2025, to be held in Jaipur.
