The district operates five schools that together educate about 2,500 students from pre-kindergarten through sixth grade in Stafford Township, Ocean County, New Jersey. The Primary Learning Center, opened in September 2006, serves pre-K and kindergarten students district-wide, while older grades are housed in a linked set of buildings: Ocean Acres and Oxycocus for grades 1-2, McKinley Avenue for grades 3-4, and the Intermediate School for grades 5-6. A connector wing added in 2005-2006 linked McKinley Avenue and the Intermediate School, expanding classrooms and learning spaces. The district serves various neighborhoods within Stafford Township and provides a broad elementary curriculum, emphasizing core skills in reading, writing, and mathematics alongside art, music, physical education, and library and computer literacy. It also offers district-wide guidance, remedial instruction, and a range of special services to support diverse student needs. In January 2026, the Primary Learning Center participated in the PLC Great Kindness Challenge, collecting 1,473 boxes of cereal to support local families.
