St. Mary Catholic Central High School (SMCC) is a Catholic, co-educational parochial secondary school based in Monroe, Michigan. It operates under the sponsorship of the Catholic parishes of the Monroe Vicariate within the Archdiocese of Detroit. The school formed in 1986 from the merger of St. Mary Academy and Monroe Catholic Central, continuing a Catholic education tradition in the area linked to the Sisters Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Brothers of Holy Cross. SMCC serves the Monroe Vicariate and surrounding communities, offering Catholic secondary education to a diverse student body. Its program is a comprehensive, multi-leveled college preparatory curriculum designed to develop students spiritually, academically, physically, and socially for a Gospel-centered life. In early 2025, SMCC's girls basketball team was recognized as No. 1 in Division 3 in a Michigan Sportswriters poll, reflecting competitive athletics within the school.
