St Andrew’s First Aid is a Scottish nonprofit dedicated to improving first aid awareness and capability. Founded in 1882, the charity envisions a future where learning first aid is as routine as literacy, supported by community education, youth programmes, volunteering, and certified training and supplies. Its headquarters are in Glasgow, and it coordinates a network of 44 volunteer groups delivering community first aid programmes across the country. The organization provides certified first aid training to about 20,000 people each year and operates six training offices in Scotland that also offer mental health awareness courses for the public and workplaces. As a social-purpose enterprise, it combines education with the distribution of first aid materials to support training activities. In 2024 it announced a partnership with the Welsh Sports Association, illustrating collaborative expansion beyond Scotland.
