Spectra-Kote has been operating out of its historic Gettysburg location since 1958. Initially founded as a value added coater for the brown box segment, the company has evolved into the premiere supplier of coatings and coated board, color and functional grades, to converters across North America.

In 1998 the company came under new ownership marking a decided shift in vision for the company. With over 40 years of internal coatings development technology, management made the necessary shift to begin offering Spectra-Kote’s innovative blends to the industry at large.

By fusing our unique knowledge of coating blend technology and our extensive experience in their application, we can offer any segment of the paper industry a solution to their coating needs regardless of the application. Through this innovative lens we are seeking to lead the box industry in new directions, very much in the spirit of our revolutionary forefathers.
