Southwest Public Schools is a state charter, governed by the Texas Education Agency, open in 1999 with the goal of providing an academic program that celebrates diversity of student interests, cultures, talents, and proficiencies through a school of choice which offers:

•  The Phoenix School provides educational services for youth in 6 residential treatment facilities.
