Smith & Thomas Insurance has been helping Florida families and businesses protect what matters most for over 50 years. Founded in 1960 by Harvey Smith and joined by Bill Thomas in 1971, the agency has remained family-owned and operated for four generations.

Today, the business continues under the leadership of the Etheridge family, with Colin Etheridge representing the fourth generation helping guide the agency forward. Built on a foundation of trust, service, and long-term relationships, we remain committed to the same principles that shaped our beginning.

Since becoming an independent agency in 1975, we’ve grown to represent multiple top-rated insurance carriers—giving our clients access to a wide range of coverage options tailored to their needs.
