The Silicon Valley Leadership Group (SVLG) is a mid-sized business policy organization based in San Jose, California, that represents hundreds of Silicon Valley companies. Its work centers on shaping the innovation economy of California and the United States through public policy engagement and member collaboration. Operating in the Silicon Valley region, the group functions as a forum for member companies to influence policy and pursue shared interests. In 2021, SVLG launched several initiatives aimed at supporting entrepreneurship and leadership development, including the Launch Circuit Initiative announced in November to provide founders with training, networks, events, capital access, and mentoring. That year also saw the introduction of the SVLG Next Generation Board Network for diverse executives and the 100 Startups program to support female entrepreneurs of color with resources and corporate partnerships. Additionally, Sonu Ratra was appointed chair during 2021.
