Siena Francis House is a mid-sized nonprofit in the United States focused on ending homelessness by helping clients obtain permanent housing in the community. It provides shelter, meals, clothing, and other emergency services around the clock, paired with concurrent case management that supports clients in developing housing plans. This work targets individuals experiencing homelessness and those at risk because of factors such as substance use disorders. Founded in 1975, the organization also operates residential addiction rehabilitation programs for people who are homeless or at risk due to substance use, along with Permanent Supportive Housing for formerly homeless, disabled clients. In 2022, Siena Francis House launched Health and Dwelling, a 24-month medical respite pilot in the Greater Omaha-Council Bluffs area, representing an expanded approach that integrates health support with housing services.
