Shepherd’s Hope is a nonprofit health care organization based in Central Florida that provides free primary and specialty medical care to uninsured residents. It serves individuals with incomes at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level who lack eligibility for government-assisted programs, helping to bridge gaps in access to care. As the largest free and charitable clinic in Florida, it has delivered more than 350,000 free visits across primary and specialty care. Founded in 1997 by Dr. William S. Barnes, the organization operates from Winter Garden, Florida, and has pursued health education and wellness initiatives alongside clinical services. In May 2026, Raquel Rocky McCormick was appointed president and chief executive officer, becoming the first Hispanic leader in the organization's history.
