Shafer Insurance Agency, Inc. is one of East Tennessee’s oldest and largest independent insurance agencies. Established in 1963 by Alex A. Shafer, Sr., Shafer Insurance Agency has experienced a continued steady growth throughout the years thanks to the leadership of the second generation, Alex “Bo” Shafer Jr., and now the third generation, Andy Shafer.
