SeeMe operates a platform designed to help artists and writers gain recognition, receive feedback, and be discovered by art lovers and collectors. Framed as a professional-network style hub for creatives, the service relies on merit-based, open-access practices, along with data-driven insights and competitive dynamics, to identify standout artists and help them sustain a livelihood from their work. The organization is based in New York City. 

Since 2018, under new leadership, SeeMe has facilitated dozens of shows and exhibitions, showcased the work of tens of thousands of artists, and distributed hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash grants and other awards. It maintains a community that includes visual artists, photographers, designers, and creative enthusiasts who engage with audiences at scale, including high-profile projects such as Art Takes Times Square, Art Takes Miami, Art Saves Humanity, and REPRESENT. Winners are selected through a rigorous, objective judging process conducted in partnership with the Sotheby’s Institute and leading art-world professionals.
