SEEDS teaches respect for life, for the earth and for each other through gardening and growing food.  Located in the heart of Downtown Durham, we are an urban sanctuary focused on promoting principles and practices of sustainable agriculture, organic gardening, food security and environmental stewardship. SEEDS creates a central neighborhood hub for our children to learn why soil is important, for our youth to learn how to grow food from a seed and for our community to commune with the natural world in the middle of their city.
