The company traces its roots back to 1967, when Buzz Bauer Realtors opened its doors in New Albany. David Bauer, continued his father's legacy and helped grow the company. With seven offices and approximately 250 agents, Schuler Bauer is one of the Greater Louisville metro area's largest independent real estate company. In order to grow and serve more of its clients, Schuler Bauer became a Powered By ERA franchise in 2013. Following the transition, Schuler Bauer Real Estate ERA Powered purchased well-renowned Century 21 Joe Guy Hagan. The merger positioned the company to serve its clients in Southern Indiana, Louisville, Elizabethtown and Radcliff. Schuler Bauer's strategic growth strategy will enable the company to serve more home buyers and sellers in the Kentuckiana and the Heart of Kentucky.
