Sandstorm Kenya is a Nairobi-based producer in the luxury goods space that focuses on handcrafted bags. The company began by making safari tents and pivoted to rugged bags crafted from leftover canvas, produced in small batches. A closely knit team in Nairobi's Karen region completes each bag from start to finish under the supervision of a single sewer, reflecting a long-running emphasis on artisanal craftsmanship for more than two decades. As part of the luxury retail ecosystem, Sandstorm Kenya serves customers who value durable, craft-focused accessories. In 2024, the company entered a collaboration with Roam Electric to supply leather components for the Roam Air electric motorcycle, illustrating diversification within adjacent premium product categories.
