The San Francisco Bay Joint Venture is an environmental services organization based in Richmond, California, and part of a nationwide network of habitat-focused Joint Ventures within the US Fish and Wildlife Service's Migratory Bird Joint Venture Program. It operates as a public-private partnership that brings together more than a hundred organizations to support habitat restoration across the nine counties of the San Francisco Bay Area. The venture acts as a facilitator, linking restoration practitioners with expertise, funding opportunities, and collaborative networks to strengthen conservation outcomes. 

Its activities engage a broad range of stakeholders, including government agencies, conservation groups, nonprofits, and private partners, all working to advance migratory bird habitat projects in the Bay Area. In October 2025, SFBJV partnered with Point Blue Conservation Science to launch a new website called San Francisco Bay State of the Birds, marking a concrete expansion of its outreach and information-sharing efforts.
