Samitivej was the first hospital in Thailand to be awarded the Mother and Baby Friendly Hospital for Most Recognized Service in 2004 and accreditation by Hospital Accreditation Board in Thailand. We have been JCI-accredited since 2007.

Samitivej Hospital Group has made history in the Thai healthcare industry by being the only hospital group in Thailand to have all its hospitals JCI-accredited, being the first private hospital to be registered in the Stock Exchange of Thailand in 1994, and opening the first private children's hospital in Thailand. Other notable awards include the Prime Minister's Award.
