Salt Lake Technical College (SLTech) is part of Salt Lake Community College (SLCC). Utah has a network of technical colleges in addition to degree-granting institutions. SLTech is the Technical College for Salt Lake County and is part of the degree-granting institution SLCC. 
 
SLTech works to meet the needs of business and industry for a skilled workforce, promoting economic development through market-driven technical education and workforce training. Advisory committees comprised of employers in each industry inform each program’s curriculum. This collaboration ensures the College’s technical programs are relevant to industry standards. By providing access to high-wage, high-demand careers through education, SLTech helps to economically elevate underrepresented populations. SLTech offers not-for-credit workforce training and technical education for credit-hour certificates.  

SLTech offers a variety of programs, including short-term workforce training, continuing education for maintaining licensure, and technical education programs that prepare students for employment and are partial requirements for an Associate’s degree. Located in the heart of the Salt Lake Valley, SLTech offers programs at multiple campuses. Tuition is affordable, often with scholarships available. Our student body has various educational and career aspirations, and our students bring a broad perspective of opinions and live experiences. All are welcome at SLCC.
