SAFE Coalition for Human Rights (SAFE CHR) is a U.S.-based nonprofit focused on preventing human trafficking and protecting vulnerable girls in India and the United States. The organization works at the intersection of mental health, grassroots intervention, and global advocacy, with activities ranging from on-the-ground engagement in high-risk regions to the establishment of trauma training centers and educational support for children in rural communities. SAFE CHR collaborates with NGOs, law enforcement, and policymakers, while directly engaging affected communities, including red-light districts, to address trafficking at its source. Based in Munster, Indiana, the group emphasizes trauma-informed, community-driven approaches and global dialogue, exemplified by initiatives such as the SAFE 2027 Conference in New Delhi.
