Ruby Hill Winery is a Pleasanton, California-based wine producer in the beverage manufacturing sector. The operation traces its origins to 1883, when John Crellin planted vines on a clay-rich hillside that would be named Ruby Hill, and by the late 19th century it had become a notable producer in the Livermore Valley. In 2002 the 105-acre parcel was purchased by Mike Callahan with Rubino Estates Winery, and a tasting room opened in 2007, marking the start of a family-driven partnership. Family members from the involved families participate in day-to-day operations, including bottling, harvest, and wine club events, with wines described as balanced and approachable for drinking now or aging at accessible prices. In October 2023, Ruby Hill Winery partnered with Rubino Estates and Valley Humane to host a Dray Day pet adoption event in Pleasanton, reflecting community engagement beyond winemaking.
