Rotronic AG designs and manufactures a broad array of humidity measurement instruments, from transmitters and data loggers to probes and humidity generators, used to assess relative humidity, dew point, water activity and related parameters. Readings rely on a stable humidity sensor paired with HygroClip digital technology, and the instruments measure both humidity and temperature because temperature influences the interpretation of humidity. The product range serves HVAC, building management, manufacturing and process control, metrology laboratories, meteorological probes, and quality-control applications for foods, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, with intrinsically safe options for specialized contexts.
Based in Bassersdorf in the Zurich region of Switzerland, Rotronic is positioned as a mid-sized manufacturer in the appliances and electronics sector. In 2025, Rotronic Instrument Corp announced the HF3A HygroFlex transmitter, reflecting ongoing product development in humidity and temperature measurement.
