Rotherham Hospice is an independent charity delivering end-of-life care to people affected by terminal illness in the Rotherham community. A multidisciplinary team, supported by volunteers, provides physical, psychological, social, and spiritual care to patients, their families, and carers to support quality of life both at home and in the hospice. The organization is based in Sheffield, England, and operates a range of services designed to address needs across home and hospice settings. Its facilities include a Day Hospice, an inpatient unit expanded to 14 single bedrooms with en-suite facilities, a Day Therapies and Wellbeing Groups program, traditional day care, and a Hospice at Home service, complemented by a Hospice Community Team delivering specialist nursing in the community. The hospice began with the Day Hospice in 1996 and added an eight-bed inpatient unit in 1997. In 2025, the charity received two national awards at the Charity Times Awards, reflecting recognition within the sector.
