Founded by one of the Napa Valley’s original mountain vineyard and nested AVA protagonists, Robert Craig, more than thirty years ago, Robert Craig Winery continues Bob’s vision of producing classically structured wines from remote vineyards at high elevations. The wines each feature a piercing expression of site and the ability to cellar for the long haul. Situated on the summit of Howell Mountain in northeast Napa Valley at nearly 2300’ of elevation, our winery remains one of the most picturesque, highly sought-after destinations for Mountain Cabernet lovers to visit each year, though only a lucky few will score a reservation. Our primary focus is on our portfolio of Howell Mountain wines (predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon) hailing from our two estate vineyards on Howell Mountain totaling 35 planted acres. We also produce iconic selections from our Amentet Vineyard on Mount Veeder, Affinity Cabernet from Coombsville, and Spring Mountain District and Diamond Mountain District Cabernets from single vineyards. We welcome you to join us on our Mountain Cabernet journey either at our tasting salon in downtown Napa, or at the Howell Mountain winery.
