Ride Right Gear, founded in 1994, was among the first to produce quality body protection on a production basis for Bull Riders. Starting small, working out of the founder’s home, the Ride Right Bull Rider Protective Vest, went from a new concept to the sport to a de facto standard in just 4 years. Today, more professional riders wear a protective vest built by Ride Right than all other manufactures combined. In fact All 10 of the Top 10 money winners of the PBR wear vest made by Ride Right. Two of Right Right’s major innovations have included the “Shock Spreader” a protective shield made from 4th generation ballistic material mechanically fastened to a thin high density sports foam and a heat thermoformed “Shock absorber” which allows the freedom of movement of separately cut foam pieces with the protection of a solid sheet. Over the years Ride Right’s manufacturing and distribution functions have continued to grow. Today Ride Right offers a full line of Bull Riding gear, including chaps, spurs, gloves, ropes, gear bags, etc… all made to the same high standards established by their Bull Riding Protective vest.
