Resolution Copper is a mining project based in Superior, Arizona, pursuing a proposed copper mine outside Phoenix. The operation would supply copper for essential modern technologies and infrastructure, including electric vehicles, smartphones, renewable energy generation, and MRI scanners. The project is a joint venture owned by Rio Tinto (55%) and BHP (45%), with an expected 60-year lifespan.

It emphasizes environmental stewardship and aims to protect culture and heritage in the areas where it operates while contributing to local and state economies through jobs, tax revenue and increased local spending over the project's life. In 2026, reports indicate the company expanded facilities and offices in Arizona and added staff to support ongoing operations. The project also contemplates developing a substantial copper ore deposit deep beneath Oak Flat as part of its long-term mining plan.
