Recovery Through Entrepreneurship (RTE) is a movement towards modernizing the age-old problem of recidivism and ex-felon employment. Although this topic is nothing new and there are many organizations trying to solve this issue, we have decided to tackle this challenge from a completely new digital perspective. The conventional approach of face to face and on the ground initiatives are helpful but there are limitations to these facilities resources and the number of people they can work with. This is why we have decided to identify a 21st century solution: a digital platform that offers individuals the tools they need to learn, build, and develop projects on their own so they can start to think, act, and behave like effective entrepreneurs.
