RAMS, Inc. is a mid-sized mental health care nonprofit based in San Francisco, founded in 1974. It provides a range of integrated services—counseling, job training, capacity building for partner organizations, and advanced professional training—centered on clients, community, and culture, with a history of serving Asian and Pacific Islander Americans and expanding to assist those with the fewest resources. The organization operates across more than 90 sites citywide, offering more than 30 clinical programs and serving more than 19,000 adults, children, youth, and families each year in at least 30 languages. Its offerings span individual, family, and group counseling for all ages, residential services, vocational and employment supports, and psychology training and practicum, along with workforce development and education initiatives such as a summer camp and a certificate program with SF State University. In spring 2026 RAMS was set to participate in the APA Annual Meeting, where it was to be recognized for contributions to expanding access to care for diverse populations.
