Family-owned and operated, Raloid Tool Company was established in 1945 by Lloyd, Raymond, and Clayton Brownell to produce tooling equipment for many diverse applications, including all aspects of friction materials manufacturing. We are a U.S.-owned business; every single component we manufacture is made in the United States. And while we are stationed outside of Albany, NY, we provide our services both domestically to cities across the nation, as well as to international markets. 

Currently owned and operated by Ronald Brownell, Lloyd's son, and David Brownell, Ray's son, Raloid Tool acquired the assets of S & E Industrial Adhesive Corporation in 2004. This acquisition greatly enhanced the well-established Raloid Tool Product line. The S & E Adhesive acquisition has added aftermarket equipment lines to Raloid's existing OEM/OES equipment lines which now gives customers total flexibility for their manufacturing requirements.

A major aspect of our business involves the custom design and building of precision machine products for the brake industry.
