Pure Salmon is a food and beverage manufacturing company based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, that operates land-based Atlantic salmon farms using recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) technology. The company aims to produce up to 260,000 tons of salmon per year and pursues a global operations footprint. Each new facility is designed to be fully vertically integrated from hatchery and grow-out to processing and smoking to ensure bio-security and full traceability. Pure Salmon promotes a local-production-for-local-consumption model intended to reduce food miles and environmental impact by producing salmon near consumers. The organization has 51-200 employees and has expanded from its first RAS facility in Poland (operating since 2018) with projects in Japan, France, and the United States and plans for further expansion into China, Southeast Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
