Progress House is a recovery-focused organization based in Indianapolis, Indiana, operating within the Individual and Family Services sector. It was founded in 1961 by a group of men and women who had recovered from what they described as a hopeless state of mind and body. The program began with space for about ten men, and after several relocations, has operated from its current site near downtown Indianapolis since 2001, hosting weekly meetings for individuals exploring its recovery approach. In 2019, Progress House merged with Aspire Indiana Health, a nonprofit provider of comprehensive healthcare services. Additional information about Progress House is available on its website.
