Pro Kids, First Tee – San Diego is a nonprofit organization that uses golf to foster character development, life skills, and values among underserved youth. Its programs—Golf & Life Skills, the Pro Kids Academy, and the Pro Kids Scholarship—provide ongoing support and opportunities intended to be both enjoyable and meaningful, helping participants prepare for future challenges. 

Founded in 1994 by Ernest H. Wright, Sr., and local community leaders, the group opened a second location in Oceanside in 2012. It became a charter member of First Tee in 1998, and now operates within the First Tee network as Pro Kids, First Tee – San Diego. The organization is based in San Diego, California, and has affected more than 25,000 youths through experiences centered on honesty, confidence, and respect.
