The Portland Gay Men's Chorus is a mid-sized music ensemble based in Portland, Oregon. It seeks to expand and refine the choral art through eclectic performances that honor its community and affirm the worth of all people. Within the regional arts scene, the chorus positions itself as a leader in the gay community and as a well-managed organization that provides an open, supportive environment for members and supporters. The chorus has a long-standing involvement with AIDS-related causes, including benefits and donations to AIDS organizations and a memorial project recognizing members who have passed away. It has historically welcomed women into leadership, performance roles, and collaborations with women's choruses. In 2022, the organization announced leadership appointments, naming Dr. Braeden Ayres as Artistic Director and Conductor and Mary McCarty as Associate Conductor.
