Strategically located on the eastern seaboard of the United Arab Emirates, 70 nautical miles from the Strait of Hormuz, Fujairah is a key shipping hub for the UAE as well as the wider region. The Port of Fujairah is, therefore, an essential economic link between east and west, expanding the opportunities for local and international trade to the markets of the Indian subcontinent, GCC and North East Africa.

Initial construction of the Port started in 1978, as part of the economic development of the UAE, with full operations commencing in 1983. Since then, the Port has embarked on a continuing process of enhancement, developing its container services, general cargo and dry and liquid bulk facilities, to be able to offer an efficient and comprehensive range of services.


Key Business Activities	 
The port offers comprehensive facilities for a wide range of requirements such as containers, general and bulk cargo including Crude Oil, Fuel Products, Aggregates, Limestone, Clinker and Rock.  

Fujairah Oil Tanker Terminals (FOTT) handles the Port’s Liquid Bulk and provides unparalleled logistical services to all the liquid bulk storage terminals, refinery and oil processing plants hosted by the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone (FOIZ). FOTT facilities are specifically designed and constructed to the highest safety standards and offers maximum flexibility, along with efficient and seamless operations.

Large quantities of Dry Bulk are exported from our two locations, Fujairah is mainly serving the export of Gabbro and Rock, while Dibba Port is strategically located to handle Limestone and Clinker from the nearby quarries.

Fujairah Terminals, a whole owned subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Ports, is exclusively providing General Cargo, Container and RoRo services, with a focus on the GCC region, the Indian subcontinent, Pakistan, East Africa as well to be a hub for East-West shipping links.

The Fujairah Anchorage Area (FAA) is accommodating up to 174 anchor positions at any one time.
