Pocono Farms Country Club Association is a private, year-round community in Tobyhanna, in the Pocono region of Pennsylvania, owned and operated by its members to pursue recreational living. It is a planned community established under Pennsylvania's Uniform Planned Communities Act of 1997 and operates independently of developers or builders. The community comprises amenity areas surrounded by 2,113 plotted lots and more than 1,430 homes, with nineteen entrances on over 20 miles of township roads and eight miles of community-owned cul-de-sacs. Residents and their guests have access to amenities including an Olympic-size pool, a lake for swimming and fishing, tennis and basketball facilities, a fitness center, a golf course, and a clubhouse with dining. Ownership is governed by deed covenants that require membership and annual dues, and members in good standing can participate in governance by serving on the Board or on committees. The association combines a nine-member, all-volunteer Board with a professional management team to oversee operations, maintain property values, and uphold community standards.
