PingThings is a software company focused on one problem: helping organizations make full use of the all frequencies of time series data their physical systems already produce. Modern infrastructure—electric grids, aircraft engines, industrial equipment, renewable plants, data centers—generates enormous volumes of time-stamped measurements every second. Yet most of that data is never centralized or analyzed. It is siloed across vendors, reduced to summaries, or discarded because traditional data systems cannot handle it at scale, creating blind spots in critical infrastructure, massive liability, and invites catastrophic failures seen around the world. PingThings offers a production-ready, high-performance time-series data platform designed specifically for multi-vendor, mixed-frequency environments. On the grid, we unify data from sources such as SCADA, AMI, PMUs, relays, inverters, waveform monitors, and other sensors into a single, time-aligned environment optimized for sub-second and waveform-level analytics. Our focus is practical impact. By giving engineers and operators access to unified, high-resolution data, we enable faster problem solving, earlier fault detection, improved reliability, and better compliance with evolving operating standards. Rather than delivering narrow, one-off analytics, we provide a foundation where organizations can design, test, and deploy new applications easily and quickly using their existing teams. To date, our growth has been driven by real-world deployments and enterprise partnerships, particularly in the energy sector. We have demonstrated our ability to operate at utility scale in multi-vendor environments and support advanced monitoring and analytics across transmission and distribution systems.
