The Petroleum Club of Houston is a private, member-based club serving male professionals in the oil and gas sector, based in Houston, Texas. It grew out of a shared vision by Wilbur Ginther, Howard C. Warren, and Harris Underwood, with its charter granted on January 31, 1946. The club has occupied several landmark spaces over the years, originally atop the Rice Hotel, then in the ExxonMobil Building from 1963, and relocated to the 35th floor of 1201 Louisiana Street in 2015. As part of the oil and gas industry, the club provides a private venue for social and professional gathering among its members in the Houston area. It is a relatively small organization with a long-standing presence in the city's business community.
